The largest history museum in Texas.
Included in the permanent collection are the feather headdress and Winchester Model 1873 rifle that belonged to Comanche leader Quanah Parker, a rifle belonging to Charles Goodnight and a 1903 Ford Model A (one of the oldest autos in existence). The museum also houses a number of temporary special exhibits such as an exhibit on legendary firearms maker Samuel Colt, The History of Broadcast and an exhibit revolving around a Kiowa indian's sketchbook from Ft. Marion.
